On Tuesday I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. They still have a few
tests to run but right now it looks like the cancer is only in the lymph nodes in my neck and chest. It looks like they will
probably start me on chemotherapy shortly after Thanksgiving. I feel ok except for some fatigue and breathing trouble because
of the mass near my lungs. I’m so grateful for the love and support I’ve been shown thus far and would appreciate
it if you all would keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

I went to the oncologist today. My official pathology reports were not in, but from the physical and
preliminary reports, it looks like stage IIB Nodular Sclerosis Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Tentative treatment would be two
rounds of chemo, possibly followed by radiation. I still need to have a bone marrow biopsy, several tests on my organs and
I have to go to Vanderbilt to get a second opinion from a lymphoma specialist, but might start treatment on Dec. 17th. Thank
you again to all the people who have posted, sent messages, emailed or called with kind words and blessings. I’ll keep
you posted on the situation.
