In April we voted on the new Walking with Friends Logo and it will appear
along side the Friends of Suzanne logo for the first time at the 5th Annual Walking with Friends in 2010 !
Due to an emergency situation with one of our patients, we are holding a Fall Fundraiser, October
3rd at the Commons Park, Main Street, High Bridge.
Hillary Brush Wilson was diagnosed Hodgkins Lymphoma in June 2009. She had just relocated from
California to New Jersey.

4th Annual Walking with Friends
Cancer Walk and Craft Fair
Saturday April 4, 2009
Participants will walk 3 miles along the scenic Columbia Trail
The walk will begin at Commons Park in High Bridge. The event will begin with registration starting at 8:30 AM.
Participants will be given juice and water as well as breakfast bars and donuts.
Opening ceremonies will begin at 9:45; and the start of the walk will be immediately following.
Upon completion of the walk, there will be a craft fair, BBQ and the Easter Bunny will be present. We will
have musical entertainment, and a day of fun is planned including an Egg Hunt.
Start spreading the word and making plans to attend what will be an excellent day of fun, community spirit and support
for those living with Cancer.

There is NO minimum donation amount.
Remember that every little bit helps . . .
Consider holding a fundraiser at your office:
* Jeans Day - ask your HR Dept if you can collect money by allowing employees to wear
blue jeans to work on a set day . . .
* Cell Phone Collection - ask your friends, neighbors, coworkers to give you their
old cell phones and bring them to the walk - we recycle them for cash and use it to fund our programs
* Making a Change - place a tin or jar in your home, and deposit your change in it
each evening. Change adds up fast, and can help with our Pay their Way copay program
* Ask your friends and family to join you at the walk . . . our goal this year is
to set an attendance record. Help us reach that goal
